Description
There is usually a trade to make. Either the shoe looks like something you actually want to wear, or it is the one you can still walk in at five o'clock. Capucine is the pair that does not ask you to choose.
Underneath is a thick, flexible sole with a hand-stitched welt and a cushioned footbed, which takes the sting out of concrete. The toe box is cut wide and round, so nothing presses at the sides on the days you are on your feet from morning to evening, and soft foam runs all the way around the ankle.
Elastic laces with a metal toggle mean you pull, click and go: no bending down, no knot to retie. The leather uppers are soft from the first wear, the moulded rubber tread holds on wet pavement, and the whole shoe is light enough to carry in a bag. Available in nine colours.

Size & Fit
Sizes run from US 5 to 12, including half sizes up to 10. They fit true to size.
The toe box is cut wide and round, so there is room across the front of the foot. Elastic laces with a metal toggle let you slip them on and off without untying anything.
Between sizes? Take the larger half size, especially if you wear your own insole or a thicker sock.
Care: wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth and let them dry away from direct heat.
